Douglas C. Smith, Esq. is a successful litigation and trial attorney with over 30 years in private practice in California. He has been a partner/shareholder in both large and small litigation law firms in California, and is the founding partner of Smith Law Offices, LLP in Southern California’s Inland Empire.

His extensive jury trial practice and experience has earned him the rank of associate in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). A former Judge Advocate and Captain in the United State Marine Corps, Smith currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel and is the State Judge Advocate for the California American Board of Trial AdvocatesAir National Guard based in Sacramento, CA. He remains active in various civic, community, professional and veteran organizations.

Smith will bring to your fight many years of military and courtroom trial experience and advocacy for military members and veterans, having represented and fought for the rights of hundreds of veterans as well as active-duty marines, sailors, soldiers and airmen over the years, from the newest enlistee to general officers.
